      Have You Tried…

 Woodless Graphite Pencils

Create rich fluid lines using a piece of solid graphite that has the same look and feel as a traditional pencil, only instead of a wood casing there is a light lacquer coating. Use the entire side of the sharpened point to quickly block in tone, and pivoting on the side can easily vary the thickness of velvety smooth lines. Woodless graphie pencils sharpen just like a regular pencil and come in various degrees of hardness: 9B, 8B, 6B, 4B, 3B, 2B, and HB

Paintstiks are great for sketching shape, color, and composition without messy mixing cups or palettes. Made from artist-grade pigments mixed with special drying oils, Paintstiks are then solidified in highly refined wax (which protects them between uses). Use your fingers, a stiff brush, or a palette knife to spread and build color. Paintstiks work well on almost any surface: canvas, paper, wood, plastic, metal, and fabric.

Bienfang Note Sketch Book

Each page in a Bienfang Note Sketch Book is divided in half (vertically or horizontally): one half is blank for sketching, and the other half is lined (the perfect place to make notes about the sketch). Made with recycled paper, they are a fun hybrid between a sketch pad and a ruled notebook.
